OMFG that is so hilarious! and sad! and thought-provoking... have you ever read Neil Postman's "Amusing Ourselves to Death"? I happened to be re-reading it when I saw your post. The idea (in the book) is that as television has become our primary medium of communication, public discourse has become only that which can be presented in the format of visual entertainment. It scares me more now than when I first read it in 1995, and the irony of this short film offers striking support for his argument.
